Holiday Entitlements

Holiday entitlement is calculated on a pro rata basis, based on length of service and hours worked.

Full time annual leave entitlement is on the following basis :

  • 5 days Entry
  • 26 days after 1 years service (continuous employment as at 1 April )
  • 27 days after 2 years service (continuous employment as at 1 April )
  • 28 days after 3 years service (continuous employment as at 1 April )

Plus statutory holidays and an additional 3 days to be taken between 26 and 31  December. Staff that are required to work during Christmas and New Year may take the 3 days leave in addition to their annual allowance, at other times of the year.

Training & Development

We encourage your work-related skills and experience through on the job training and where appropriate, study for an approved qualification. On average we spend around £600 on each employee’s skills/qualification development and are committed to personal and organisational development.

Performance & Development Review

The yearly review of your career progression is a two-way process where we encourage you to discuss past performance and future improvement. You will have regular one to one meetings with your line manager to discuss your performance
