Applying for a Home

Teesdale Housing Association operates a Choice Based Lettings system called Durham Key Options.

This means that all of our available properties are advertised between a Thursday morning and Tuesday evening. To be considered for any property you must “bid” which is the term we use for expressing an interest in the property. You can bid online or over the phone on the automated bidding line number 0845 2701603.

To bid you must first be registered for Durham Key options, if you are not already registered please call us on 01833 694400 and we will be happy to advise you. Once you are registered you will be given a unique application reference number and you will need this to be able to bid for properties.

Properties are advertised on the Durham key Options website ( there is a link from this page ) at our offices and in a weekly publication available from local libraries, sure start, council offices and leisure centres.
